Luke discusses how he went from a football injury that had him depressed and contemplating suicide to one of the world's most renowned extreme athletes. He looks at the glass not as half full or empty but grateful to have to begin with. He focuses on what he can do with the life he's been given. Luke also shares the habit he’s developed that he’s most proud of: catching himself when he sees life getting out of control and taking breaths, stopping, and resetting. He also discusses how he uses habits and gratitude to propel him through life.

Luke Tyburski is a former professional soccer player, an endurance adventurer, and author of Chasing Extreme. He ran through the Sahara desert, down Mt Everest, and through a tropical Chinese forest without food, water, or money. His first ever triathlon was a double Ironman distance race taking him 35 hours non-stop to complete.
