Healthy Goals Are More Than Just New Year’s Resolutions

So my friends, by this point I assume you know how important your 5 cores are to your overall health and happiness. Wait, you DON”T? That’s alright, if you missed the memo, here’s a refresher course.

 Now I know what you’re thinking: “So what? I’m doing great in almost all of those.” Well, almost isn’t ALL. Mastering all 5 cores may seem tricky at first glance, but it IS possible. When thinking about your ideal daily routine for a healthy body and mind, this is essential. 

 

To do this, you need to get proactive when it comes to your self-growth. Don’t just say “I’ll do it tomorrow,” and lose momentum. Build up your positive momentum by taking action in fun ways that you enjoy. 

This starts with creating a daily routine for a healthy body and mind. The body and the mind are both equally as important, and both need to be exercised. You don’t have to force yourself to do things you don’t enjoy, like running or lifting weights. Instead, find something you like that helps your growth.

It’s hard to make yourself do something you don’t want to do. Take it from me, I’ve got kids. Those guys NEVER, and I mean never, shy away from trying to get out of something they don’t want to do.

But aren’t we all guilty of that? We say we’ll work out today, but when it comes down to doing that or sitting around and having some cake, one option is definitely easier. 

You’ll question yourself over and over until you get tired and just give up on having a daily routine for a healthy body and mind. But by finding something that you DON”T hate, you’ll break out of your failure loop and soar into a success loop.

 

In order to find a form of exercise that you love, you have to truly want to do it. Often, we make goals for ourselves based on our peers. Or worse: the internet. 

Social media can be a deterrent when it comes to making a daily routine for a healthy body and mind. Instead of exercising because the world is telling you that you should, do it because you truly want to boost your momentum. If you don’t know where to start, here’s a list of fun activities that get you on your feet!

 

So, How Do I Find My Daily Routine For a Healthy Body and Mind?

Finding a physical activity that suits you is the first step, and repeating it is the second. Repetition is key when it comes to a daily routine for a healthy body and mind. 

Have you heard the term: “practice makes perfect”? Well, it’s true, and the same goes for gaining momentum. The only way to create a success loop for yourself is to begin a repetitive workout loop motivated by your WANT to build momentum. 

For example, my favorite workout activity is playing basketball. I’ve played ball since I was little, and I loved it so much that I continued to play at least 2-3 times a week as I got older. 

Fast forward, I’ve been playing for 25 years and now I’m one of the older guys at the court (but young at heart of course). I found something I loved, basketball, that took the edge off the term “exercise” for me. The result? A daily routine for a healthy body and mind that I love!

 

Everyone thinks that there’s some code they have to crack when it comes to fitness. But do you want to know the truth? 

There is no secret code to success! All it takes to create your perfect exercise routine is a little bit of fun. Once you figure out your idea of fun when it comes to movement, you’ve unlocked the way to a successful daily routine for a healthy body and mind.

 

So, I’m definitely getting Physical this week, you in? You can even involve your friends and family with group activities like dancing, going for a bike ride, or playing some ball. 

 

You can even let your tech start to work FOR you instead of against you. Social media is commonly a negative tool when it comes to physical health because it encourages you to work out to fit in, not because you actually want to. 

But by gamifying your life, you can level up your usage! Use social media as a reward for a particularly difficult exercise, or follow those who would uplift you on your journey. 

 

Now it’s time to take action. You have all you need to build momentum, it’s time to join the movement! 

 

One Extra Tip To Develop a Daily Routine For a Healthy Body and Mind:

If you’re feeling tired from chilling and chowing down during this holiday season, that’s totally normal. Eating what you want and relaxing are two necessities in life, so carry on. Just know that everything is fine in moderation! 

It’s also important to remember that you’ve got to keep up your daily routine for a healthy body and mind. Meaning: don’t forget about the exercise. 

Continue to pursue physical activities to stimulate your body while building up your mind. By doing this, your positive momentum will blast up. So, dance it out and keep it moving!
