Luke discusses how he went from a football injury that had him depressed and contemplating suicide to one of the worlds most renowned extreme athletes. Luke also shares the habit he’s developed he’s most proud of – catching himself when see’s life getting out of control – taking breaths, stopping, and resetting. Luke Tyburski is a former professional soccer player, an endurance adventurer, and author of the book Chasing Extreme. He ran through the Sahara desert, down Mt Everest, through a tropical Chinese forest without food, water or any money. His first ever triathlon was a double Ironman distance race taking him 35 hours non-stop to complete. His biggest physical challenge so far has been the Ultimate Triathlon: a 12-day cross-continental Triathlon from Morocco to Monaco, which he had designed himself. 2000 km in only 12 days…
